An illustration of Hopsalot from JumpStart Kindergarten 1997/1998. Drawn for a JumpStartville Discord server event where I took art requests from other members of the server. Although the request was simply for Hopslaot, I wanted to draw him doing something - since a lot of my art is simply characters standing and waving or gesturing, I wanted to push myself to draw something more specific. I had an idea to draw him gardening, since he does this in the game - then the gopher that also appears in the game and tries to steal veggies from Hopsalot's garden made it into the picture as well.
